Personal Development - iPROs
iPROs is a youth leadership development program and network in Curaçao, initiated by Rotary Club of Curaçao, to put Curaçao´s young professionals on track to become individuals who directly and indirectly contribute to creating progress for the island (www.ipros.an).
AIC significantly contributes to the set up and organization of this program. Furthermore, Gyselle, Alberto and Arthur are board members of IPROs Foundation. Before this, Arthur was the initiator and sole proprietor of Power Training Curaçao a personal development program for professionals and youngsters in Curaçao.
Art - Luna Blou
Luna Blou is an independently run theatre and art house, that has regular screenings of international films, local films (from the Caribbean, some in Papiamentu) and festivals, some from the Netherlands, like "Africa in the Picture", the International Documentary Festival of Amsterdam and the Amsterdam Fantastic Film Festival (www.lunablou.org).
AIC has supported Luna Blou for more than five years via the board membership of Arthur and involvement of Gyselle. AIC still supports Luna Blou in its efforts to raise necessary funds
Art – Fundashon di Artista
Alberto is since 2010 involved with Fundashon di Artista in Curacao as a Board Member – Treasurer. Before this Arthur was also involved with Fundashon di Artista in Curacao as a Board Member - Treasurer (1993 - 2000).
Art - Mijke De Mol van Otterloo
Mijke is a colleague at Heren2 in Amsterdam. Mijke is a living proof of the ability to keep a creative eye for the less obvious. To attain the unthinkable. Without having any own personal affinity with the local Antillean origin, Mijke was able to paint a limited number of Iguanas on request. Of these paintings two hang in the Amsterdam office and one in the Curaçao office.
Education - University of the Netherlands Antilles (UNA)
AIC has supported the UNA via involvement of Arthur who has lectured, examined and has been an external member of the thesis committee in conjunction with among others professors from Rotterdam related to the subjects Financial Management, Intermediate Corporate Finance, Accounting, Auditing, and Administrative Organization at the Social Economic Faculty and Accountancy Program of the University of the Netherlands Antilles.
