Study Trip Tias Nimbas

Willemstad, Curacao, 11-06-2010

 The study trip of the Dutch Business School took place from November 6th to 12th. The 40 Participants are all enrolled at the postgraduate course Master Executive Management and Organization. The program of study trip was organised by Stichting Willem 4, a Curacao foundation.

Bob Verburg, Chairman Stichting Willem 4: "We are extremely pleased with the outcome of the study-trip. A major objective was to provide participants with a broad understanding of the Curaçao economy and society as a whole. Thanks to the tremendous dedication and hospitality of organizations from all sectors, we have achieved that goal. “During the study trip four broad themes were discussed: Economic development in the new country Korsou, Corporate Governance, Logistics and ICT.

Luis Santine, Secretary of Stichting Willem 4: "The study trip showed us how much interest there is for the exchange of knowledge in our new country. Alberto Romero, member of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Curacao and St Maarten and guest speaker during the study: "The exchange of knowledge and information is very important for our new country. This study trip, as organized by TiasNimbas and Stichting Willem 4, is an excellent platform to do this. All relevant themes were discussed during this week. "
